This Thursday, July 20, the 2023 Afores Fair began in the Zócalo of Mexico City, organized by the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar), where Financiera para el Bienestar (Finabien) participates again for four days in module 24 (in front of the auditorium) so that people make their voluntary contributions in cash to their afore, request the Finabien-Mexico card and learn about the institution’s services .
Finabien’s stand stands out since it is the only place where attendees can make voluntary contributions in cash to their Afore, regardless of the one they are registered with, without charging commission. Similarly, they can withdraw cash from 10 banks: Afirme, Citibanamex, Banco Azteca, Banco del BajÃo, Banorte, BBVA, HSBC, Inbursa, Santander and Scotiabank, without leaving the fair. In addition, carry out airtime recharges, payment of services, among others. Service is provided from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and it is recommended to bring official identification.
The purpose of the fair is to bring procedures and services closer to workers and the general population, mainly so that people who do not know where their Afore is located can request their account statement, as well as find out how much money they have saved for their retirement.
